Summary
This study aimed to create a communication tool to help doctors and patients have better conversations when cancer treatments stop working. Researchers interviewed 128 people, including cancer patients, parents of children with cancer, and healthcare professionals, to understand their communication needs. The goal was to develop a booklet of questions patients can ask their doctors to get clearer information and feel more involved in their care decisions.
