Dartmouth study tests if genetic tumor boards improve cancer care decisions
NCT ID NCT05405413
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a special team of cancer experts, called a Molecular Tumor Board, can help doctors choose better treatments based on the genetic makeup of a patient's tumor. About 192 adults with cancer will have their tumor genes analyzed, and the board will suggest targeted therapies or immunotherapies. The main goal is to see how often doctors follow these recommendations and how the patient's cancer responds over the next year.
