NCT ID NCT00515060

First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study aims to understand how cancer therapies cause nerve pain by testing how patients feel heat, cold, and touch. Researchers will also take small skin samples to see if nerve endings have pulled back. The goal is to learn more about this type of pain, not to treat it. Adults with advanced cancer who have pain from certain chemotherapy drugs may join.
