Summary

This study tested a specialized talk therapy designed to help people with advanced cancer who are experiencing severe emotional distress, anxiety, and feelings of hopelessness. Researchers worked with 24 adult patients to see if this therapy was practical to deliver and if it could help improve their psychological well-being. The goal was to provide better emotional support by addressing deep-seated fears and conflicts related to their serious illness.
