Tracking the hidden toll: what happens to cancer survivors after treatment ends?

NCT ID NCT04671693

Summary

This study aims to understand and track the long-term health problems that can develop in cancer survivors after their initial treatment is successful. It follows 500 adults who have finished treatment for certain cancers (like breast cancer, lymphoma, and leukemia) and are in remission. Researchers will check for 19 different potential complications—including heart issues, kidney problems, fatigue, anxiety, and pain—over five years through regular check-ups and questionnaires.
