First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tests whether a campaign featuring real stories from cancer survivors can encourage more people in rural India to get screened for oral, breast, and cervical cancer. About 1,120 adults aged 30-59 who have never had cancer will be randomly assigned to hear either the survivor stories or the usual awareness message. The main goal is to see if the personal stories lead to more people visiting a clinic for screening within one month.
