Getting stronger before cancer treatment: can it change your recovery?
NCT ID NCT06674889
Summary
This study is testing if a special screening and referral program can help cancer patients get into exercise programs before they start treatment. Researchers want to see if this 'prehabilitation' helps people feel stronger, more active, and improves their overall quality of life during their cancer journey. They are enrolling 60 adults who are about to start cancer care at UNC and who report challenges with daily activities, balance, or a desire to exercise more.
