Gas tested to ease pain of cancer tests
NCT ID NCT00646945
Summary
This study tested whether a gas mixture called Kalinox could safely reduce pain for adults with cancer during short, invasive procedures like bone marrow tests or spinal taps. It compared the gas to standard pain relief methods and a placebo to see which worked better. The goal was to provide clearer guidance for managing procedure-related pain in cancer care.
