French pilot paves way for faster cancer gene tests
NCT ID NCT03546127
Summary
This study tested whether a new system for analyzing a patient's tumor genes could work fast enough to help doctors choose treatments. It involved 24 adults with advanced colorectal cancer or soft-tissue sarcoma. The main goal was to see if the complex process of gene sequencing and analysis could be completed and reported back to doctors within six weeks.
