Blood test trial seeks better cancer treatment matches
NCT ID NCT05032092
Summary
This study is testing whether analyzing the genetic makeup of advanced cancers from blood or tissue samples helps doctors select more effective treatments. It involves 235 patients whose cancer has progressed despite standard therapies. Researchers will track if treatments chosen based on this genetic profiling keep the cancer from growing longer than the patients' previous treatments did.
