Summary
This study is testing whether combining education and counseling with a placebo pill works better than education alone to reduce fatigue in people with advanced cancer. Researchers want to see if this combination improves quality of life, mood, sleep, and thinking for 240 patients with metastatic cancer who experience significant tiredness. The study compares three approaches: education plus placebo, education alone, and placebo alone.
