First seen Mar 19, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looked at how people with advanced cancer decide to talk about and write down their wishes for medical care if their condition gets worse. Researchers offered patients two special conversations about their preferences and tracked who took part. The goal was to learn more about what helps patients share their end-of-life care wishes, so that future care can better match what they want.
