Genetic test aims to speed up cancer trial enrollment

NCT ID NCT02706652

Summary

This study aimed to save time for cancer patients by checking their genetic markers and other characteristics before they went through full screening for a clinical trial. Researchers tested blood or cheek swabs from 8 adults being considered for National Cancer Institute studies. The genetic information helped determine if patients were eligible for specific trials and what drug doses might work best for them.
