New drug combo tested in fight against advanced cancers

Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether combining two existing cancer drugs (abemaciclib and pembrolizumab) is safe and might help control advanced lung cancer or hormone-positive breast cancer. It will enroll about 100 people with these specific cancer types who meet strict health criteria. The main goal is to check for side effects, while also seeing if the combination can shrink tumors or slow cancer growth.
