New program aims to ease the burden on cancer caregivers
NCT ID NCT04055948
Summary
This study tested whether a special education and support program could help family caregivers feel more confident and less stressed while caring for a loved one with cancer. Researchers compared the new program to usual care for about 180 patient-caregiver pairs. The goal was to see if better caregiver support could improve their well-being and potentially lead to fewer unplanned hospital visits for the patient.
