New program aims to ease tough talks about cancer care
NCT ID NCT07428278
Summary
This study is testing a web-based program called ROCKS, designed to build resilience and help patients with advanced cancer and their family caregivers have important conversations about future care wishes. Researchers will see if the program helps people complete advance directives and improves their ability to cope, communicate, and manage anxiety and depression. The study will involve 152 patient-caregiver pairs who have not yet made formal advance care plans.
