Cancer patients say no to help: study digs into why

NCT ID NCT07352579

First seen Jan 31, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looks at why some cancer patients who have social needs—like trouble getting food, housing, or transportation—choose not to accept help from their cancer center. Researchers will survey 500 adults and interview a smaller group to understand their reasons. The goal is to improve how support is offered so more patients get the help they need.
