New blood draw method could spot cancer DNA sooner

NCT ID NCT05497531

Summary

This study is testing a new way to collect blood for cancer detection. Researchers want to see if taking blood from a vein directly draining the cancer during a biopsy finds more tumor DNA than a standard blood draw from the arm. The goal is to improve the accuracy of blood tests used to monitor liver and pancreatic cancers.
