Scientists search for blood clues to track Cancer's spread
NCT ID NCT07151807
Summary
This study aims to understand if certain proteins in the blood (IGF-1 and IGF-1Ec) are linked to how much cancer is in the body. Researchers will analyze blood samples from about 100 adults with solid tumors to see if higher protein levels match larger or more advanced cancers. The goal is to learn if these proteins could one day help doctors better monitor a patient's cancer.
