Summary

This study looked at whether taking a moderate dose (4,000 IU) of vitamin D daily could lower the chance of getting COVID-19 compared to a low dose (400 IU). Over 2,000 adults in the US took part for 12 months. The goal was to see if vitamin D can help prevent COVID-19 infection.
