NCT ID NCT07421869
First seen Feb 26, 2026 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at whether hypothyroidism caused by immune checkpoint inhibitors (a type of cancer immunotherapy) can get better after stopping the immunotherapy. Researchers want to see how many patients can safely stop taking thyroid hormone medication. The study involves 107 adult cancer patients who developed hypothyroidism during immunotherapy and have already stopped that treatment. They will gradually reduce their thyroid medication under close monitoring to see if their thyroid can work on its own again.
