Sniffing out seizures: can your Body's smell warn you before an epileptic fit?
NCT ID NCT05865561
Summary
This study aims to identify specific odors people release before an epileptic seizure. Researchers will collect air samples from 100 adults with drug-resistant epilepsy during their hospital stay. The goal is to find a chemical 'signature' that could one day lead to a non-invasive device to warn people a seizure is coming.
