NCT ID NCT04276116

First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether telling smokers their estimated 'pulmonary age' (how old their lungs act) helps them quit. About 100 smokers aged 25+ will be randomly assigned to get their pulmonary age or not. Success is measured by a breath test at 6 months. The goal is to see if this simple feedback boosts motivation to stop smoking.
