Summary

This study will test if people can accurately measure their own tonsil size using a mirror, flashlight, and phone camera. Ninety participants will first assess their tonsils at home, then have their tonsils evaluated by a medical student and two ear, nose, and throat specialists. If self-assessment proves accurate enough, it could help patients with sleep apnea or swallowing problems get faster referrals to a surgeon, saving time and healthcare costs.
