Gut check for chemobrain: can simple supplements protect your mind?
NCT ID NCT07465497
Summary
This study is testing whether daily supplements called prebiotics or synbiotics can help reduce memory and thinking problems (often called 'chemobrain') in people receiving chemotherapy for breast cancer. About 80 participants will take either a supplement or nothing for four months while undergoing treatment. Researchers will measure changes in thinking skills and look for signs of inflammation to see if the supplements help.
