First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tested whether a detailed eye exam could predict how well blood flows in the heart's small arteries. Researchers measured blood flow in the heart and eyes of 101 people with coronary artery disease. They used machine learning to see if eye scans could replace invasive heart tests. The goal is to develop a simple, non-invasive screening tool for heart disease.
