Doctors get digital nudge to stop diabetes before it starts

NCT ID NCT07252700

Summary

This study is testing if adding simple electronic reminders to doctors' computer systems helps prevent people with prediabetes from developing full diabetes. It involves 6000 adults in Singapore and compares clinics that use the reminders with those that don't. The main goal is to see if these prompts lead to better follow-up care, like blood tests and lifestyle referrals, and ultimately reduce the number of people who progress to diabetes.
