New wound dressings show promise for stubborn diabetic and leg ulcers

Summary
This study tested whether adding special wound dressings (called CAMPs) to standard care helps close diabetic foot and leg ulcers better than standard care alone. 292 adults with nonhealing ulcers took part. The main goal was to see if more ulcers healed completely with the added treatment.
