New eczema drug shows promise in early trial

Summary
This study tested a new medicine called camoteskimab in 62 adults with moderate to severe eczema (atopic dermatitis). The goal was to see if it reduces skin redness, itching, and rash better than a placebo over 12 weeks. Participants received either the drug or a placebo, and some continued in an open-label extension. The trial is complete, and results will show how well the drug controls eczema symptoms.
