Calcium shot may curb dangerous bleeding in C-Sections

Summary
This study tests whether giving calcium through a vein right after the baby is born can lower blood loss during cesarean sections. About 182 women having a planned or in-labor C-section will receive either calcium or a placebo. The goal is to see if calcium helps prevent severe bleeding, a common and serious complication.
