Could a simple calcium boost before your workout build stronger bones?
NCT ID NCT05029128
Summary
This study explored whether taking calcium before exercise helps bones get stronger from workouts. Researchers monitored 18 veterans during a 4-week treadmill program to see if exercise temporarily weakens bones by pulling calcium from them. The goal was to gather evidence to design better exercise and nutrition advice for improving bone health and preventing fractures.
