First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated May 29, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study is for adults with chronic kidney disease who either have or are suspected of having calciphylaxis, a rare and life-threatening condition where small blood vessels in the skin harden. Researchers will compare these patients to similar kidney disease patients without calciphylaxis to find clues about what causes it and how to detect and treat it earlier. The goal is to gather knowledge that can lead to better prevention and care.
