NCT ID NCT07511283

First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at a rare but serious condition called calciphylaxis, where small blood vessels in the skin harden, often in people with advanced kidney disease. Researchers will compare 860 kidney disease patients with and without calciphylaxis to find clues about what causes it and how to detect it earlier. The goal is to gather knowledge that can lead to better prevention and treatment.
