New weekly shot aims to fight diabetes and weight in kids

Summary
This study is testing a new weekly injection called CagriSema to see if it helps children and teenagers with type 2 diabetes better control their blood sugar and lose weight. About 80 participants, aged 10 to 18, will receive either the real medicine or a placebo (dummy shot) for part of the study, then all will get the real medicine. The main goal is to see how much it lowers a key blood sugar marker (HbA1c) and body weight over about 15 months.
