Can a smartphone app outsmart sleep deprivation with better caffeine advice?
NCT ID NCT05588934
Summary
This study compares two ways to use caffeine to stay alert when you're very sleep-deprived. Researchers want to see if a personalized smartphone app that recommends caffeine doses works better than standard advice. They will test 180 healthy young adults who will stay awake for over two days in a lab, using either the app's recommendations or standard caffeine doses to see which helps people stay sharper, feel better, and sleep better afterward.
