First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study looked at whether drinking caffeine is linked to how Huntington's disease progresses in people who have the gene but do not yet show symptoms. 77 adults with early-stage Huntington's were observed, and researchers measured changes in brain volume and thinking skills. The goal was to see if caffeine might slow or speed up the disease.
