Summary

This study looked at how long you chew caffeinated gum affects how quickly caffeine enters your blood. Thirty healthy men chewed gum with 300 mg of caffeine for either 5 or 10 minutes on separate days. Researchers measured caffeine levels in blood samples taken over three hours to see if chewing longer changes peak caffeine or how long it stays high. The results could help people decide when to chew caffeinated gum for the best effect.
