New Strength-Based program boosts Well-Being in cancer patients

Summary
This study tested a 3-week program that helps cancer patients identify and use their personal strengths to cope better with their illness. 32 adults with different types of cancer took part. The program included a card-sorting session, a personalized report, and weekly phone calls. Results showed the program was acceptable and feasible, and it may help improve emotional well-being and reduce fatigue.
