New drug combo aims to improve stomach cancer surgery outcomes

Summary
This study tests whether adding the drug cadonilimab to standard chemotherapy (FLOT) helps people with a certain type of stomach or gastroesophageal junction cancer that can be removed with surgery. About 37 adults will receive the combination before and after surgery. The goal is to see if this approach improves how long people live without the cancer coming back.
