First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looked at 60 adults with chronic subdural hematoma (a blood clot on the brain) to see if using one or two small holes in the skull (burr holes) leads to better recovery. The goal was to find which method reduces complications like infection, clot return, and hospital stay. Participants were split into two groups, each receiving one of the surgical techniques, and followed for three months after surgery.
