New camera tech could predict burn healing without surgery

This study tests two noninvasive imaging methods to assess burn wound severity and predict healing. Researchers will enroll 200 burn patients to see if these cameras can accurately determine which burns will heal on their own and which need surgery. The goal is to improve treatment decisions and avoid unnecessary procedures.
