NCT ID NCT06593093

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests a bundle of services—telehealth check-ins, a peer support specialist, the medication buprenorphine, and help connecting to addiction treatment—for people who have had an opioid overdose and are leaving the emergency department. The goal is to see if this approach helps more people stick with treatment and avoid another overdose. About 190 adults will take part.
