Summary
This study is testing a bundled support program for people with opioid addiction who have recently visited the emergency room for an overdose. The program combines telehealth check-ins, peer support, medication (buprenorphine), and help connecting to longer-term addiction treatment. Researchers want to see if this approach helps people stay in treatment and reduces repeat overdoses and emergency room visits.
