Summary
This study is testing if a safe, existing water pill called bumetanide might help control Alzheimer's disease. It will check the pill's safety and see if it improves thinking skills in 40 people with early Alzheimer's. The research is based on promising data suggesting the drug could help rebalance brain chemistry in Alzheimer's.
