Summary
This study explored how Buddhist teachings could help reduce the social stigma experienced by people living with HIV in Myanmar. Researchers worked with 19 participants to adapt an existing program aimed at lowering stigma and improving quality of life. The goal was to see if culturally tailored support could help people better manage the emotional and social challenges of HIV.
