First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tests two ways to numb the cheek and gum before removing lower back teeth. One method is the standard numbing shot, and the other targets the main nerve trunk. Researchers will measure pain during the procedure and whether extra numbing is needed. About 100 adults aged 20 to 60 who need a lower molar removed will take part.
