Scientists probe hidden links between nighttime teeth grinding, sleep, and stress

NCT ID NCT04214561

Summary

This study aims to better understand sleep bruxism, the condition where people grind or clench their teeth during sleep. Researchers will observe 50 adults with bruxism to see how it connects to their sleep patterns, breathing, genetics, anxiety, and pain levels. The goal is to gather knowledge about what causes bruxism and how it affects people, not to test a new treatment.
