First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looked at whether manual therapy (hands-on treatment) or home exercises could reduce pain and improve jaw movement in people with bruxism (teeth grinding). Thirty young adults with bruxism were split into two groups: one did exercises at home for 8 weeks, the other received manual therapy twice a week. Both groups also learned about bruxism. The study measured pain, muscle stiffness, and jaw mobility before and after treatment.
