Scientists probe brown Fat's secret role in meal processing
NCT ID NCT06078345
Summary
This study aimed to understand if active brown fat tissue helps the body process nutrients from meals more efficiently. Researchers compared 30 healthy volunteers, some with active brown fat and some without, by giving them different test meals. They measured how the body handled blood sugar, fats, and proteins, and took small tissue samples to see what changed at a molecular level.
