NCT ID NCT06484543
First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether a natural compound called maslinic acid, found in olive skins, can safely improve metabolism in 50 Chinese adults at risk for obesity and diabetes. Participants take the supplement for 12 weeks while researchers measure changes in blood sugar, body fat, energy use, and brown fat activity. The goal is to see if this nutraceutical approach can help control metabolic disease without needing lifelong medication.
